Submission terms

Community photographs and stories are reviewed by museum administrators before any public display. Submissions may be approved, rejected, scheduled, featured, archived, or removed. Submitting content does not guarantee publication.

Photo rights policy

You must own the photograph or have permission to share it. Authorized display on LVTMuseum.com does not transfer copyright beyond the license granted in the submission checkbox. The museum may decline content that cannot be rights-cleared.

Administrators maintain an internal asset rights ledger at content/research/asset-rights-ledger.md. It is not a public gallery of images.

Donor recognition policy

Supporters on Deck is opt-in recognition, not a leaderboard. No automatic publication of donor name, amount, email, identity, or dedication. Digital recognition is not claimed as a physical museum display unless separately verified by the museum.

Government / Marine Corps branding

This site does not claim official Marine Corps, Department of Defense, or federal government operation or endorsement unless formally documented. Official insignia and seals require verified authorization before use.
